PREFACE

South Africa First is a movement not borne out of a particular political ideology but rather the pursuance of South African civil liberties, security, welfare, peace and social guarantees as espoused by the broader South African racial groups and communities. South Africa First is founded on the ground-up organic growth principle. South Africa First aims to mobilise all races, communities and groups to fight and eliminate the three monsters facing the South African society today; namely Illegal Immigration, Crime and Corruption as a matter of urgency. South Africa First offers the platform and opportunity for all South Africans who believe in the rule of law, equality, fairness and justice to stand up and actively participate in building and capacitating the collapsed layers of governance in the country.

ARTICLE 1: NAME OF THE ORGANISATION

1.1The name of the organisation is SOUTH AFRICA FIRST

ARTICLE 2: OBJECTIVES

2.1 Against the background of rampant Crime, uncontrolled Illegal Immigration and high levels of Corruption SOUTH AFRICA FIRST’s main objective is to gather all citizens of South Africans who feel strongly about these three menaces in our society to become part of the systematic approach in defeating this enemy.

ARTICLE 3: VALUES, CHARACTER and PRINCIPLES:

SOUTH AFRICA FIRST is a non-racial, non-sexist, classless Political Party that abhors all forms of racial prejudice, abuse, hatred, religious intolerance and human injustice with a solid foundation on Democracy, Law, Transparency and Justice.

The fundamental, basic and elementary building unit of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST political party is the LOCAL BLOCK which consists of 100 members and is the pillar and building block of the levels above it.

SOUTH AFRICA FIRST believes in the clear separation of the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary

SOUTH AFRICA FIRST strongly believes in the principle of Equality before the Law

SOUTH AFRICA FIRST rejects the use of violence as an instrument in and for political contestation and interactions.

SOUTH AFRICA FIRST stands for Integrity, Discipline, Justice, Freedom of Speech and Association

ARTICLE 4: MEMBERSHIP

4.1 Membership of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST political party is open to all registered South African voters who fully accept the Constitution of the organization

4.2 Members have an equal and fair participation in all activities of the LOCAL BLOCK and other structures and activities of the organization.

4.3 Members will always show respect, care, kindness towards other members of the organization and observe discipline at all times

4.4 No member is allowed to communicate with any media outlet on matters pertaining to the organization without prior authorisation from SOUTH AFRICA FIRST

4.5 Application for membership can be done via all the available platforms and means.

4.6 A two-year membership fee of R100 will be required for membership and each member will then be issued with a SOUTH AFRICA FIRST membership card

4.7 The all-important Membership Card will be used for access in LOCAL, AREA, METRO, PROVINCIAL NATIONAL BLOCK Meetings and other Party Activities. This will also ensure smooth prior registration of members for meetings and conferences and for proper accreditation at all times.

4.8 Each and every member of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST shall have all the rights to be voted for any office of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST and will equally have all the rights to vote for any member in good standing.

4.9 Members are expected to behave in a manner that does not bring SOUTH AFRICA FIRST into disrepute both in public and in private.

ARTICLE 5: BUILDING BLOCKS

5.1 The LOCAL BLOCK is the entry point for Membership into the organization and it is a very important and critical component of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST. It is the nucleus of the organisation and will consists of 100 members who will then choose 20 members to be part of the next level, namely an AREA BLOCK.

5.2 An AREA BLOCK will in turn consists of 200 members who will choose 50 members to be members of a METRO BLOCK. Each METRO BLOCK will consists of 500 members who will in turn also choose 100 members to be part of the PROVINCIAL BLOCK.

5.3 Each PROVINCIAL BLOCK will consists of 1000 members who will choose 100 members to be members of the NATIONAL BLOCK. A Province with a higher number of Local Blocks will obviously have a higher number of candidates in the NATIONAL BLOCK which will be under the auspices of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST founding body, The Calabash.

5.4 The main role of the Calabash is administrative and implementation of the FIRST PHASE as the SECOND-PHASE strategy and policy direction will emanate from the LOCAL BLOCKS in due course.

5.5 The NATIONAL BLOCK will form Government.

ARTICLE6: ETHICS and CODE OF CONDUCT

6.1 All registered members of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST will be subject to the discipline of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST

6.1.1 The following conduct by any member shall constitute misconduct

6.1.2 Involvement in Criminal Activities

6.1.3 Involvement in Corrupt Activities

6.1.4 Engaging and participating in any actions that are contrary to that of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST’s stance for a non-racial, non-sexist, classless Political Party that abhors all forms of racial prejudice, abuse, hatred, religious intolerance and human injustice.

6.1.5 Joining and participating in activities of other parties other than SOUTH AFRICA FIRST.

6.1.6 Creating and sowing divisions within the ranks of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST political party.

6.1.7 Conviction in a court of law for Crime, Corruption and other non-political offences.

6.1.8 Any behaviour that is deemed and perceived to be against the objectives and values of the organization

6.1.9 Misappropriation of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST funds and fraudulent activities

6.1.10 The Disciplinary Committee will consist of all members of the Calabash

6.1.11 Any behaviour by a member that brings the party into disrepute

ARTICLE 7: General

7.1 The NATIONAL BLOCK will form Government and will also be responsible for formulating and outlining Policy and Strategy of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST beyond the FIRST-PHASE.

7.2 This Policy and Strategy Development Process will be a culmination of the various discussions, interactions, research and analysis at LOCAL, AREA, METRO and PROVINCIAL BLOCK Level.

7.3 The Calabash will be responsible for Administrative oversight and coordinating the implementation of the FIRST PHASE.

7.4 The NATIONAL BLOCK will review the Constitution and Code of Conduct of the organization at the conclusion of the FIRST PHASE and chart the way forward organizationally.

7.5 Member Organizations, Groups, Associations, Forums and similar entities that have 100 or more members will be able to constitute a LOCAL BLOCK even if they are not from the same geographical area.

7.6 BLOCKS are allowed to interact with other BLOCKS horizontally and not vertically.

7.7 Any South African Citizen whether White, Black, Coloured or Indian is welcomed to join this ground-up organization.

7.8 The ultimate Leadership as constituted by the NATIONAL BLOCK will form government following the election processes and principles of SOUTH AFRICA FIRST.

7.9 The Calabash will act as party leadership in the initial phase on an interim basis until the NATIONAL BLOCK assumes office.

7.10 The Logo of the party will therefore be used as the face of the party in the Election process and an interim banking account will be used for Set-up, Administration, Logistics and other related organizational matters. SOUTH AFRICA FIRST won’t tolerate corruption of any form in its ranks under any circumstances as it expected to be the Beacon and Champion of the Fight against Corruption.
